A chemical peel is a cosmetic procedure used to improve the appearance of the skin by applying a chemical solution to exfoliate and stimulate cell turnover. Depending on the type and strength of the peel, it can target various skin concerns such as fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, uneven pigmentation, and sun damage. While some chemical peels may result in visible peeling and flaking, others, like certain Circadia gel peels- which will be used for this treatment, are formulated with advanced technology to minimize or eliminate these effects. The goal of a chemical peel is to promote skin renewal, improve texture and tone, and enhance overall skin health and appearance.
For optimal results, a series of 3 to 6 chemical peel treatments is advised.
